"I met an elephant at snowing safari park. I thought ""what a pitiable"", but I found he was bringing snow to his mouth by using his trunk. It was my conceit to think him that way.
There was a smiling elephant that overcame the tragedy of human and nature's confrontation easily. Since then, I paint smiling animals. What a smile is for me is the first expression of happiness and the strength of heart that can accept."
