Born in 1950 in Seoul, Korea. Graduated in 1981 from Chung-ang University and majored in painting. Created a series that portrayed “the flickering emotions of facing a changing hometown in sadness while also harboring a longing for reform in a constantly modernizing world” in the nineties. From 2000, New York became the base of operations. Created a series of East Side story art pieces. In an ever growing theme of coexistence between skins of all colors, portrayed the Korean nation’s transcending soul. Now having exhibits in Korea, America, China, Japan and various other Asian countries.
