Since 2009, this is the 7th "KOBE ART MARCHÉ (KAM)" art fair at the familiar venue of "Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel". Galleries around Japan will gather on the 12th floor of the hotel, and decorate guest rooms with art. This hotel is a resortlike hotel surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is one of the greatest stages for creating extraordinary spaces.

Kobe Biennale, which is held once every two years, also takes place this year. The main venue of the KOBE Biennale is Meriken Park which is located directly under the hotel. We aim for an art fair that deepens our connection with the local community such as Kobe city and the Organizing Committee for KOBE Biennale. Our purpose is to share the pleasure of enjoying various forms of art like Japanese paintings, Western paintings, Modern art, Art crafts and so on. We have many kinds of plans this year. For example, "ART meets SAKE" where you can taste Japanese rice wine (sake) from Japan's number one wine production origin Nadagogo, "AHMAD TEA LOUNGE" where you can enjoy a world famous tea (loved in more than 80 countries) "AHMAD TEA", "ARTIST meets GALLERY in KAM" which is a project to support artists, and so much more. Please come to the venue and enjoy this art fair with your five senses.

This year, the 20th year since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, "MOTOMACHI ART MARCHÉ -pottery fair" in collaboration with Motomachi shopping street will be held on 23rd September. We, "KOBE ART MARCHÉ 2015" and "MOTOMACHI ART MARCHÉ -pottery fair", are looking forward to your visit.
