This year, “Kobe Art Marche,” a hotel art fair aimed at activating the Kobe art scene and promoting contemporary new talent, will be celebrating its 8th event.

Last year, booths that were set up with the cooperation of corporate sponsors such as the long-established drinking establishment based in Kobe, “ART meets SAKE/Sponsored by Kikumasamune brewery, Fukuji, Kenbishi brewery, and Sawanotsuru,” and tea brand "AHMADTEA LOUNGE/sponsored by Tominaga Boeki,” were very well received. Additionally, various plans were undertaken such as a plan for discovering unknown artists known as “ARTIST meets GALLERY,” a pre-plan held in the Motomachi shopping district called “Motomachi Art Marche - Pottery Fair,” and a collaborative plan with Motomachi’s movie theatres. Thanks to everyone’s support, Kobe Art Marche ended up being a great success.

This year, the venue will be the entire 13th floor of the “Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel,” where we plan on deepening our relationship with the local community and improving the event’s content in order to convey the joy of art to as many people as possible.
