.This year, the Kobe Art Marché (KAM) —a hotel art fair launched in 2009 for the activation of the arts industry and the expansion of the arts market— welcomes its 9th anniversary. In addition to high quality exhibitions based on themed galleries, this event will feature Toukiichi pre-events, as well as special rooms titled "Artist meets Gallery", "Art meets Sake", and "Ahmad Tea Lounge". KAM is also running a project in collaboration with Motomachi Eigakan, enabling the event to develop itself into an art fair that is unique to Kobe, thanks to the collaboration of many organizations.

The venue for the event, the Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, is also a great highlight in itself. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, this hotel provides the feel of a holiday resort —the most ideal location for the exhibition of extraordinary art. KAM offers a great collection of art covering a wide variety of genres. It aims to promote and deepen connections with the local regions so that as many people as possible are able to share in the enjoyment of art.
